What Saludata does, what it does not do, and what we expect of you.
Version 2026-09-07
What Saludata is
Saludata brings together in one place the tests you have had at different laboratories and imaging centres. You choose the centre, enter your login details for its portal, and we sign in with those details, fetch your new results and show them to you in an organised way.
You can also add a result yourself, without connecting any centre: you upload the PDF of the report or take a photo of the paper, give it a date and a title, and it joins your history alongside the ones we fetch. It is the same account and the same history: a result you uploaded is viewed, corrected, shared and deleted in exactly the same way as any other.
We are not a healthcare provider and we do not treat you. We do not make diagnoses, we do not recommend treatments and we do not review your results: we fetch them, or you provide them, and we store them and show them to you.
You can also create a link to show your results to a healthcare professional, without them having to create an account. You choose which results, how long the link lasts and whether to protect it with a passcode.
What we need from you
To fetch your results we need the login details for each centre's portal. By entering them you authorise us to sign in on your behalf, for the sole purpose of fetching your results: that is what the text you accept for each centre says, and we do nothing beyond that.
- The login details must be your own. Do not enter someone else's, unless you have legal authority to do so.
- The file you upload must also be your own. We do not check whose it is or whether it is genuine: we store what you chose, exactly as it is, and show it as yours because you put it there.
- Look after your Saludata password: your results are in here. Choose one that you do not use anywhere else.
- If you notice anything unusual on your account, tell us and change your password. Changing it signs out all open sessions.
What we never do
There are three things you will never have to ask us about:
- We do not sell or hand over your data. Not to health insurers, whether social security schemes or private health plans, nor to insurance companies, nor to your employer, nor to anyone else.
- We do not show advertising or use your results to target you.
- We do not use your data to train artificial intelligence models.
What we cannot promise you
We fetch your results from the centre's portal, so we depend on that portal. If the centre changes its site, it goes down, it locks your account or it asks you for a code by text message, we may stop fetching results until we fix it. When that happens we tell you on screen and we do not hide it.
Saludata is not the official copy of your medical record. It is a convenient copy for you, so that you have it to hand. The official medical record is held by the centre where you were treated, and you can always request it from them.
We do not guarantee that all of your results are here: from a centre's portal we can only fetch the ones that centre publishes. You can add whatever is missing yourself, and in that case what is here is what you uploaded.
About a file that you uploaded yourself we can say no more than that: that you uploaded it. We do not check it against any laboratory or verify any signature, so we do not vouch for it as genuine, including on the other side of a link that you have shared with a professional.
You control a shared link: we do not know who opens it on the other side, and if the professional saved the file, that copy stays with them. Taking the link down cuts off access from that point onwards.
Explanations with artificial intelligence
We can write you, in a few lines, what the values of a test say. It comes switched off and is only switched on if you switch it on, after reading what is sent and what is not.
The same switch does a second thing: reading the values of a report that we cannot read on our own here, such as a photo or a scanned PDF. With artificial intelligence switched off, that result is still saved and shown, but it is left without a list of values, and we tell you so on screen instead of leaving it waiting.
That explanation is not a diagnosis and does not replace your doctor. Every time we show you text written by artificial intelligence we tell you above the text, always, with no small print.
Your account
You can download everything of yours whenever you like, from Settings: we put together a file with your results, your values and all the reports exactly as they are stored — PDFs as PDFs and any photos you uploaded as photos.
When you share a link, you are the one granting it, not us: you choose which results are included, how long it lasts and when you take it down. We do not send it to anyone and we do not know who you passed it to.
You can also delete your account whenever you like. Deletion is not immediate: there are 30 days during which you can change your mind or download your results. After the 30 days we delete everything, including the files, and there is no going back.
We may close an account if it is used to sign in to other people's portals or to attack a centre's systems. Before doing so we tell you and give you time to export, unless the law requires us to do otherwise.
If we change this text
Each legal text has a version, and the version you accepted is stored with the date. When we change something important you will see a notice in Settings and you will be able to read the new text before accepting it. We do not change a text and treat it as read.
